Kareena Kapoor Says Saif Ali Khan Calls Her ‘Too Hardcore’ Over Scripts
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan may share a close personal and professional bond, but the two actors do not always agree when it comes to films. Kareena has revealed that when she does not like a script Saif is considering, he sometimes dismisses her opinion by calling her “too hardcore.”
The comment offers an interesting glimpse into how the Bollywood couple discusses movies at home, with both actors having their own instincts when it comes to scripts, roles and film choices.
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan Have Different Script Opinions
Kareena has been known for having strong opinions about scripts and characters throughout her career. When she feels that a script Saif is considering does not work for her, she is willing to tell him what she thinks.
According to the report, Saif’s response can be that Kareena is being “too hardcore.” The remark appears to reflect their different creative perspectives rather than any serious disagreement between the couple.
Saif Ali Khan Has Often Followed His Own Instincts
Saif Ali Khan has built a career that moves between mainstream Hindi cinema and more unconventional projects. From films such as Omkara and Love Aaj Kal to Tanhaji and Vikram Vedha, his choices have often allowed him to experiment with different characters and genres.
That independent approach is also relevant when looking at his discussions with Kareena. Even if she does not approve of a particular script, the final decision remains Saif’s as an actor.
Kareena Kapoor Has Her Own Approach to Film Scripts
Kareena has also spoken over the years about the importance of choosing the right scripts and characters. Her filmography includes commercial entertainers as well as performance-driven projects such as Chameli, Omkara, Talaash and Jaane Jaan.
Her strong reaction to a script therefore comes from her own understanding of what works for a character or story. It also explains why her opinion may sometimes differ from Saif’s.
Kareena and Saif Have Worked Together Before
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have shared the screen in several projects, including Tashan, Kurbaan and Agent Vinod. Their last full-length film together was Agent Vinod in 2012.
